For external use, fractionated coconut oil or sweet almond oil are good carrier oils. When taking Oregano essential oil by mouth, olive or coconut oil may be used for diluting. Topical use: dilute Oregano oil with a carrier oil, 1 tsp (5ml) carrier oil per 1 drop of Oregano oil. Apply to external area daily.
Lingual use: dilute Oregano oil with olive or coconut oil 1:1, one drop Oregano oil to one drop of olive or coconut oil. Place one to three drops of the 1:1 mix under the tongue, hold for at least 1 minute and flush with water.
Oral use: You can put a couple of drop of Oregano oil into a cup of water. Drink, swish and gargle before swallowing. For added benefits and a more palatable blend: use a .5ml bottle add 6-8 drops Oregano oil. Fill with olive oil, shake well. Take 1 to 2 drops of this blend with a teaspoon of honey 3 times a day.
