How to Create a Marketing Plan

I was listening to an Inner Circle audio teaching the other day of Tracy Walker.  Tracey is a Leader in Empower Network. I love listening to her speak, she has such passion and conviction when she speaks.

Tracey was talking about how to create a Marketing Plan.

One of the first things she said on the audio was…

“do you multi-task?”

Then she said,

“Multi-tasking is not a habit of the wealthy!”

She talked about how in a job they expect you do multi-task.

Tracey asked…

“Does Multi-tasking pay you? If not, eliminate it.”

I thought wow…

I multi-task all the time. I bought into the lie that multi-tasking is what we should be doing.

Then she went on to say,

“Financial transactions are what we get paid for. We are paid to make sales and we need to learn how to make sales.”

Ok I get that…I need to learn how to make sales!

But how???

Create a marketing plan!

Create a marketing plan

Tracy’s 3 things to include when creating a marketing plan

1. Speak to a particular audience. Have a specified target audience. Tracy said,

“Marketing to everyone is marketing to no-one.”

2. Create a message to that specific target audience.

3. Determine what medium you will use for advertising.

Tracey also stated,

“Stop marketing to people who don’t have the means to buy what you have.”

This was a real eye opening statement for me because I get a lot of inquiries from people who don’t have a way to pay for our products.

This made me realize that I need to re-evaluate my marketing strategy!

I really got a lot out of this Inner Circle audio message…this is just a sample of the messages that are on the Inner Circle audios. I shared my notes but there was so much more than what I wrote down…

I am inspired by this and all the other Inner Circle audios! If you don’t have access to the Inner Circle you should get it. The valuable information that is gained is priceless. If your mind is not right for building your business the Inner circle audios will help you get there. They are inspiring, encouraging and motivating.

One more thing Tracy said in the audio…

”It’s not the knowledge that is power, it’s the applied knowledge.”
