Expect Success With Dee What Is Success
What is success? It’s simply doing the best you can with the time you have today. Success is easy! Make a plan of action, take those steps and you’ve successfully completed what you needed to do. Sometimes our expectations will cause problems with our thinking patterns. Make sure the end result of your actions has a reasonable expectation. Our expectations can cause us overwhelm or added pressure that we ourselves are self-inflicting.
What Is Success – It’s Not Perfection
It doesn’t matter what type of task, job, or event you’ve been involved in none of it has gone off perfectly. Think about it! We didn’t ride a bike perfectly the first time we hopped on it. We had to learn to drive and that didn’t occur without some mishaps. Understand where you are at, what you need to learn, and what you need to do to reach your goals. Your success is in every forward action you take. So you missed a task today. Plan to do better tomorrow rather than beat yourself up over what didn’t get done today. It’s just awareness of where you can do better and then actually doing so. Some people are late for their own weddings, it doesn’t mean their marriage won’t be a success. It’s a matter of perspective and how big of a deal we make out of things that are likely out of our control in the first place. Perfection does not equal success and success does not equal perfection.
What Is Success Celebrate The Little Things
Anything you did today that you didn’t do yesterday is a successful step forward. Did you celebrate? You should! It actually fills you with feel good to celebrate the little things. Did you get you get your task list completed in 30 minutes rather than an hour? Celebrate! Do a dance, give yourself a hug, and chalk one up for finding success in the little things. Clap for yourself along the way and you’ll see just how successful you truly are. Life isn’t easy and doing business runs a close second in the hard category. The more we can recognize our own achievements and compliment ourselves for them the more likely we our to trust our own strength and inner guidance. Celebrate the smallest of successes and I promise you’ll find them in plentitude.
