What Do You Think About Protesters?

Whew! Tonight was filled with protesters marching for different concerns, against the inauguration, for and against our new President Trump, all across our country. I wanted to discuss the protesters with my fans and readers. What do you think about the protesters?

Protesters Showed Up in D.C. Ahead of the Inauguration

There were several areas that had many women marching against Trump. Protesters showed up in D.C. ahead of the inauguratioprotestersn, some even wearing KKK hoods with President Trumps face printed over the front. One photo had some people actually believing the KKK were marching up on Capitol Hill. On closer look, it was actually people of color under the hoods trying to emphasis their perspective on Pres. Trump. I don’t think protests are a bad thing. It’s good to stand up for something you believe in, and it’s good to stand up for your rights, in fact it’s very important. More importantly to remain peaceful.

Where this causes concern is when people protesting become destructive. When they start destroying property that doesn’t belong to them, or have anything to do with their cause, that irks me. What does bashing in the window of a McDonalds solve? How does this stress their point? I get that people are upset, but causing more upset doesn’t help matters. What do you think about those doing this?

There’s always 3 sides to every story, that’s what I believe. There were woman who wanted to march yet showed up with Trump hats on. These women were set against each other just because of different beliefs. You can stand for women’s rights, just not if you also stand for Trump? I think they should’ve been more clear on what exactly they were protesting. And violence has no place in protesting.

I hope touching on some of the things I saw during the protesting can open up some discussion on this. Comment below if you have feedback, or if you’ve been experiencing some of these things too. Let’s share insights, I’d love to hear your thoughts
