The One Thing You Need For A Breakthrough
What’s the one thing you need for a breakthrough in your business? You work and work and you’re trying to reach a higher level. You get so close that you can feel it and taste it, yet there seems to be something holding you back. What is the one thing you need for a breakthrough?
One Thing You Need For A Breakthrough
The one thing you need for a breakthrough is going to be different for each individual. As unique as we are there are still some common traits and human reactions that all of us experience. Having breakthroughs in our business is no different. While one person easily grasps a concept another gets stuck on the understanding of it. The stuck person needs to find a breakthrough point to proceed. This is a spot where some people actually quit on themselves. They may excuse it away with “I can’t”, “it’s too hard”, or “it’s too much”. They don’t realize that when they do this they are actually preventing their breakthrough. Let’s define some of the things that can help you breakthrough.
Focus and Clarity
You need to have a clear vision of what you hope to achieve, and a strong WHY. Focus and clarity will motivate you just as well as ideas and action. But without focus and clarity the ideas and actions have no real destination. If you have done the work and reached a point where you need a breakthrough go back over your business with focus and clarity. Make sure the path you set is clear and you’ve not been redirecting yourself off path. Focus on the positives more so than the negative. What you focus on will transpire. So look at the problems but focus on the fix rather than the result.
Mission Control
Run your business takes like you’re on a serious mission. Because you are! You can make your job fun by making it a mission. Imagine the excitement you’ll feel when your mission is complete. Some people get too serious about business and there are others not quite serious enough. If you make a mission out of your tasks it doesn’t seem much like work. Breakthroughs come as missions are completed. Level up!
Living On Purpose
When you get up every day with a purpose and live that purpose throughout the day on purpose, it’s truly living on purpose. Like I have a friend who use to groom dogs and is no longer physically able to do so. Instead of throwing in the towel and claiming she can’t serve a purpose in the pet industry, she wakes every day knowing her purpose is greater than just making the dogs pretty. People still come to her for pet advice and dog training information. She never quit living out her purpose on purpose in her area, and around people who know her. Your purpose may be part of your business or totally separate from it. Either way serving your purpose daily helps you reach breakthroughs. Just like my friend.
Being Confident
Sometimes when we hit a brick wall the first thing we let it affect is our confidence. Staying confident in who you are, in your products and in your business will help you see these brick walls differently. It’s just a hurdle to get over, under, around or straight through. Your confidence will hold you up when barriers present themselves. Have the confidence that just because there’s a brick wall it doesn’t mean it’s impossible to climb over it.
Playing Small
Playing small sometimes goes hand in hand with being confident. Others will see us through their perceptions and sometimes we play smaller than we really are. We are more capable than we can imagine and sometimes meeting that greatness will have us shriveling back in the corner. Self belief must be strong and you must learn to stand in your greatness with ease. Playing small can sometimes mean you do a little rather than the a lot you’re really capable of. Don’t be afraid to shine or take credit for your achievements. Your greatness inspires others and can be used in a more positive way than hiding behind insecurities.
