Stop Saying I Can’t Say I Can
You hear people saying “I can’t do this” all the time. In fact you probably say it too. Saying I can’t is one of the things that is keeping you from accomplishing your goals and dreams.
If you say I can’t it really means that you won’t or you are afraid to. It’s time to change your thinking.
You need to really look at how much you say those 2 words. Many times is it just a minor obstacle standing in your way, something small that you will not try to overcome. With a little bit of effort, you can get around these obstacles, and accomplish something. When you find yourself saying I can’t do that. Try to change the words to “How can I” or “I can” do this instead.
Stop Saying I Can’t Say How Can I
Once you start saying “How can I” it will open your mind up to come up with ways to do it. It takes the limitation off your mind. You will be surprised how many ideas start to come into your mind that will help you in that situation.
Is there a training you want to purchase because you know it will help you in your business, but you don’t have the money for it? By saying I can’t you won’t be able to purchase that training.
But by saying “How can I” you will come up with a way to purchase it. You mind will look for a solution .
Stop Saying I Can’t Say I Can
If you start saying “I can” you are telling your subconscious mind that you can, and you will be able to.
Once you have removed the barriers from your mind by throwing out “I Can’t” you need to decide that “you will.” decide what you really want to accomplish, and start thinking about how to do it.
Is there something you would like to learn about but you think it’s impossible for you to learn it? By saying “I can” you make it possible for you to learn it.
No matter what the obstacle, your mindset, how you think about it, will directly impact your outcome.
You can do anything that you set your mind to!
Stop Saying I Can’t Start taking Massive Action
The first thing you need to do is take massive action on your goals. Do what ever it takes to accomplish them.
Too many times we get caught up in the business of life that we don’t take action on the things we need to do to accomplish our goals.
You need to take massive action and focus on income producing activities. The things that are going to grow your business. The things that are going to help you accomplish your goals.
Have a great day!

Awesome post Deirdre! That is one of my favorite quotes. I agree with Jenny, our thoughts determine our actions…”How can I?” is powerful. Many times we are instilled with negative thoughts and it’s so important that we learn to change our thoughts to positive. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks Sherry. How can I is powerful. It opens your mind to whats possible. Thanks for commenting.
Excellent post, Deirdre! It’s so true- our thoughts determine our actions and if we keep stating we can’t…then we can’t! motivating and inspiring! Thank you 🙂
Thanks Jenny. Yes it’s very true. Thanks for your comment.
So very true. The power of the mind is a wonderful thing.
Thanks for your comment Sandy. The mind is more powerful than we realize.
It’s a great reminder Deirdre. How can I is a powerful statement and a postive one to always lead with. I’m reading Noah St. John’s Afformations and the power of ‘afformations’ which forms a question of positive intent. I can feel how things are changing because when you think differently, change happens! Thanks for sharing.
Yes it’s powerful. Haven’t read Noah St John Affirmations yet but I will. Thanks for reading my blog and commenting.
Words so very true!! What a great post thank you <3 The words we think and say can have such an impact. And CAN is the only one we need to know.
Yes words can have a big impact. Thanks for your comment Michelle.
Love this post Deirdre, absolutely ‘How Can I’… thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks Helen, appreciate your comment.
So True! If you say “I can’t” then you are probably right. I just wrote a post about a 600 lb woman who said “I can’t” when she really could. She was overcome with fear and didn’t even have the will power to try. Sadly when we say “I can’t” we are only setting ourselves up for failure. Great post!
Thanks Shauna, appreciate your comment. Saying I can’t is sabotaging ourselves. We need to take it out of our vocabulary.
