Intentional Living Day 2 of 30 Day Challenge

Hi this is Dee Powell we’re on day 2 of my 30 day challenge to do FB Live video daily. We’re going to talk about intentional living. I wanted to come up with a topic tonight that I think is important. I’ve had this book on my shelf for a few months. I keep telling myself I’m going to read it, I ordered it online a few months back. I kept saying I’m going to read this book. Now that I’m doing the treadmill every day, the treadmill is part of the 30 day challenge as well. I do the treadmill, take a shower, then do my Facebook Live. Otherwise if I don’t have some type of routine I won’t be consistent with it, and I’ll give it up. So I decided that I’m going to start to read this book. What I did today was read the book while I was walking on my treadmill. The book is called “Intentional Living” by John C Maxwell. It’s been something I wanted to read for quite awhile. I thought maybe I would sit and read the book to you but that would be pretty boring, so I don’t want to do that. I’m still in the first chapter. It’s a pretty long chapter actually. What I did want to share with you is a couple of quotes from the book.

Intentional Living-

“To be significant all you have to do is make a difference with others wherever you are, with whatever you have, day after day.”

“When you intentionally use your everyday life to bring positive change in the lives of others, you begin to live a life that matters.”

You don’t have to be stuck, or stuck in your circumstances basically. All my life I’ve always felt “who am I”? Who am I, I’m just me. I can make a intentional livingdifference, and everyone can make a difference to those around them. Whether it’s your family, your neighborhood, your church community, your business associates, your job wherever you are, you can make a difference. You don’t have to be this great person. You know each and every one of us when we start something new, or do something for the first time, we’re not going to be great at it. If you keep going, and never give up, eventually you’re going to get better. In fact you’re going to get better and better every day. As long as you put forth your best effort and give it all you got. Not just try it, putting your all into it. Things will only get better. You don’t have to be a big rock-star, or top athlete, you can make a difference in other peoples lives. Intentionally, by being the best version of yourself. By being the best you can be every day. Just be giving of yourself, and going out of your way to help people.

And that concludes day 2 of my 30 day challenge. I hope you enjoyed my video. Leave a comment below if you got some value from this post. You can also connect with me directly on Facebook.
