Do you use Notepad to keep yourself organized.
I’ve been using Notepad for a long time to keep bits of information I want to be able to get to quickly.
I keep my notepads on my desktop for easy access.
Notepad ++ for Microsoft Windows Users – Benefits
I discovered Notepad++ which is Notepad but so much better.
I’m really excited about it because there are times when I have 10 or more Notepads open at one time.
Now I only have to have one open.
It’s really pretty cool because you get tabs much like you get in Firefox or other browsers.
This works out really well when you are working on your blog or anything else that you have information stored for easy access.
Instead of having 5 or 10 notepads open you only need one now because all your notes are on one Notepad.
Notepad ++ for Microsoft Windows Users – A free download
Notepad++ is free to download.
You have many options to choose from.
You can select the language you want, pretty cool for those who’s first language isn’t English.
Notepad ++ for Microsoft Users – Features
Some of the more advanced features include:
- Document Map
- Function List
- Multi-Editing
- Column Mode Editing
These features would be used by those who work in code.
Notepad++ is written in C++, uses pure Win32 API and STL . This ensures a higher execution speed and smaller program size.
The goal is to reduce the world carbon dioxide emissions. By using this, you will be using less CPU power so your computer will be able to use less power and you will not be emitting as much carbon dioxide for a greener environment.
Document Map
Function List
Multi-Editing
Column Mode Editing
In conclusion, Notepad++ is a greener program than Notepad. It will simplify your tasks by having all your notes on one Notepad but organized by using the tabs feature. The application is free to download. You can use it for keeping track of your notes in one place but you can also use it when working in code. I recommend getting it even if you don’t use code, so you can organize all your notes in one place. Download it and try it out for yourself. You’ll be grad you did! I know I am.
