2 Useful Tools for Working With Images
-
Jing by TechSmith
Jing is a computer program that sits on your browser that allows you to capture images, short videos and it saves them and allows you to share them on the web. Its very easy to use. I sue it mostly to capture still images that I use for my blog or to share on Facebook.
I used to use the print screen and then I would have to pull up paint and paste it to paint. Jing simplifies the process.
All I have to do is hover over the Jing icon on the top of my browser and click +, Then click and drag to select the image you want to copy. Click save and name the file. You can same to where ever you want to.
Jing can be downloaded for free for Windows or MAC.
Its a great free program that I use daily.

Clipping Magic
Clipping Magic is a great online tool to use when you want to remove the background from an image. You can drag and drop or upload an image into Clipping Magic then make what you want to keep and what you want to remove. Clipping Magic is a very simple and useful tool for making images transparent. Once you remove the background you can then add the image to any other image to create original images for your project (for example: banners or capture pages).
Both Jing and Clipping Magic are great tools for working with images to add to your blogs or just about any project you need images for.
